New OVIN Incubators Partnership Will Strengthen Ontario’s Automotive and Semiconductor Supply Chain

Infineon Technologies joins the OVIN Incubators as the newest industry partner, unlocking new opportunities for global automotive innovation

(October 29, 2025) TORONTO, ON – Under the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) Incubators program, Ontario is continuing to build the automotive supply chain of the future through the expansion of strategic partnerships. Following a successful first year, OVIN Incubators welcomes Infineon Technologies, the world’s leading supplier of automotive semiconductors, as its newest industry partner.

“Semiconductors are the foundation of modern automotive innovation, powering everything from electric vehicles to advanced driver systems,” said Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade. “The partnership between Infineon Technologies and the OVIN Incubators will leverage Ontario’s industry expertise alongside Infineon’s research excellence to strengthen the province’s automotive supply chain and open new doors for Ontario companies seeking to develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge mobility solutions.”

This strategic partnership will combine Infineon’s cutting-edge technology with OVIN’s extensive network to accelerate automotive and mobility innovations and the creation of new, Ontario-based ventures.

Since its launch in 2024, the OVIN Incubators has strengthened collaboration between industry, researchers, start-ups, and scale-ups. It is a central platform for global industry leaders to connect with researchers and Ontario-based companies, paving the way for the development of next-generation automotive and mobility technologies and integrated supply chains, while fostering Ontario ventures.
