    OVIN’s Regional Future Workforce Program to connect Ontario’s Automotive and Mobility Sectors with the Next Generation of Talent

    The Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network’s (OVIN) newest initiative will help to bridge the gap between students and the automotive and mobility sectors. Today, as part of the Talent Sourcing & Attraction objective outlined in its Talent Strategy and Roadmap, OVIN has launched the Regional Future Workforce (RFW) Program. The program is a key part of Ontario’s Driving Prosperity auto plan, which is helping to equip workers with the skills they need to secure rewarding, high-paying jobs in the auto sector and broader supply chain.

The terms you share will be used to update the Goods and Services Manual which assists applicants in compiling the statements of goods or services required to file a Canadian trademark application.

    To meet workforce needs and to support economic recovery, OVIN is proposing the development of a made-in-Ontario Upskilling Platform for the automotive and mobility sector. This tool would support Ontario’s automotive and mobility talent pool in developing and building on new and existing skills that would support their growth in the workforce.
